Thanks to this new system designed by the team under the command of Rafi Roeli,undoubtedly it will have all the means necessary to achieve the objective without unnecessary risks.

It should be noted that the main objective is to create a flying ambulance, but similarly this system can use for other purposes as for example to transport cargo or other things that may be useful.

In terms of features we can highlight that allows you to load with a weight of 450 kg, has a range of up to about 700 km and a top speed of 96 mph thanks to its two rotors.

The first flight of the Air-Mule

It was on December 30 when the Air Mule prototype flew for the first time with the main objective of verifying technology of autonomous operation.

Altogether he travelled around 30 km from the northern part of Israel, and of course also showed another fantastic detail which is its ability to take off and land vertically. This means that to access complicated places it will be much easier, and is that it does not need a type of landing to be able to settle on the ground.

Price of the Air Mule

That Yes, this prototype that we can see in the video cost of 1.5 million dollars, both too much for work in the military world and to do so in the civilian world. However it is clear that, in the case that is appropriate to different units, obviously its price decrease significantly.

This is the main objective at the moment, i.e., ensure that this project is accessible and easily can be sold to start saving lives and carry everything you need to those hard to reach places where it is necessary a more functional system.
